Your Play Journal: Remember the Good Stuff
A play journal can be as simple as a short private note. Record what you played, what the group enjoyed and one thing to try next.
Capture the useful details
Write down a mode, map, house rule or setup that worked. Keep it brief enough that you will actually use it. Avoid recording private conversations or personal details without permission.
Share with care
Ask before publishing another person’s clip, voice or image. For a public recommendation, explain what you enjoyed and any practical limitation you encountered rather than treating your preference as universal.
Use it to choose the next session
Return to the best ideas when the group cannot decide. Add a new option when you feel curious. The journal serves the play, not the other way around.
